I strive to help all of my students reach the point where they can master the material on their own. Because of this, I like to find the way each student learns best. After that, I can tailor my teaching so that the student learns in an efficient and concise manner. I also like to design my lessons so that the student can find an interest in the material. I believe that when lessons are interesting students can learn much more efficiently. With my background in Psychology, I can keep up with the best practices in learning strategies and apply them to my sessions. I am able to teach a variety of subjects, including English, Writing, Reading, Psychology, Religious Studies, Social Studies, all levels of Spanish, associated AP- and IB-level courses, standardized test prep for the GRE, PSAT, and SAT, and more!When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy playing the guitar, biking, hiking, reading, and going to concerts.
